The Membership WG is responsible for verifying members as well as maintaining faucets within the Joystream ecosystem and also monitoring membership sign up, invitation and purchase statistics and proposing occasional updates to membership related proposals (such as fees, referral cut, initial invitation quota etc)

• Gleev + jsgenesis accounts have been manually verified by Membership WG lead

Membership Lead responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain faucet addresses

      • This address is used for Pioneer, Gleev and l1.media
• Monitor membership budget and try to ensure it doesn’t go to 0 as this stops Membership Invites from working until it is rectified
• Monitor new membership sign ups for trends as well as any possible sybil-like activity
• Verify memberships as required

• Monitor and suggest new membership parameters (such as fees, referral cut, initial invitation quota)
• Distribute invitation transfers to members
  • There is currently no process for this
• Improve knowledge and documentation of the membership purchase, gift and invitation systems.
