Assest protection

1. How we will protect assests of DAO. because every time, there will new people who will join council and they will go after completing their terms. we need to make sure that they don’t abuse assests of Joystream DAO. They will have insider’s information too, which may lead DAO to troubles if gets leaked.

• MWG channel is smallest assest of DAO, it is only accessible through seed phrase of polkadot which every council may know in future and anyone who will know the seed phrase they can misuse it anyway they want after getting out of council. We need to protect assests of DAO and make sure no one can misuse them even if they joined the council with intent to misuse the power and its assests.

Resources Usage

1. JSG is web2 company and DAO is pure form of web3 companies. JSG currently is playing role of good guy which is building Joystream DAO. But of course, DAO can’t rely on web2 for longer period. DAO needs to define mechanism with JSG of “transfer of resources” but this is unpretty to do until we don’t build assest protection infrastructure. But we will keep it in eye, this is important thing. Before “transfer of resources” we should have prepared infrastructure for assest protection and “how these resources will use in DAO” mechanism.

1. We have 2 dapps on joystream: Atlas and pioneer. Basically we have 3 things: joystream, atlas and pioneer. Atlas has broader audience, so if atlas goes up, others will move proportionally. But for the Atlas success, we need to focus on 2 these things:

• Improve atlas as product
• Marketing of Atlas
