The HR Deputy works closely with the HR team and other WGs to ensure that the Joystream's human capital is effectively utilized to support the achievement of its goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with the Joystream's values and goals.
- Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR WG along with the HR Lead
- Recruiting, interviewing, selecting, hiring workers
- Managing pay plans, including salary negotiations and performance bonuses, suggestions for council
- Conducting performance appraisals; addressing performance issues
- Overseeing onboarding and training programs for new employees
- Providing guidance and support to employees on HR-related issues, such as employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Collaborating with other HR team members and stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the HR WG
- Monitoring and analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Keeping up-to-date with relevant HR laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance with these requirements.
- Supporting the overall HR strategy and initiatives of Joystream
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Proven experience as an HR manager or other senior HR position.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence in MS Office
